Why do we think the 3am wake up times are worth it on your elopement day??? ✨👀

These are our top 5 reasons sunrise is one of the most magical parts of an elopement day:

☀️ Sunrise is often less busy at usually busy locations offering privacy for our couple's intimate moments like first look or vows.

☀️ Some locations have better lighting at sunrise. There are definitely some locations we recommend only at sunrise or only at sunset for the best images.

☀️ Sunrise is the coolest part of the day to hike in. There is also a little extra magic hiking in under the stars, then hiking back in the morning light getting to see the views for the first time.

☀️ Sunrise is simply sacred. It is the start of a new day, a transition, the world waking up. It is known to be the most meditative part of the day.

☀️ Starting early means you get to spend more time together and get a longer day. Let's face it, the day goes by fast, so why not get all the hours you can have together out of it?

You get to soak it all in, let the high settle, admire the day, take in the beauty around you as dusk water colors the views around you.

It's quiet, calming, as stars slowing start to appear in the horizon.

It feels like Mother Earth is giving you a tight embrace of congratulations.

It just feels right, a lot of what intentionally planning the day feels like. ✨

A few sneaks and bts moments from this magical, everything you could dream of, fall day in WA. A foggy chilly morning, vibrant fall colors to an evening with a stunning sunset, the Milky Way above Mt Baker.

My friend, tjme is the most valuable, most fleeting thing we have.

Our time spent with our loved ones filled with intention, that is authentic to us, that is spent making memories together is to be so cherished.

Our memories play a faulty game with us, often we forget the little things, sometimes even the big things. Photos though, don't forget. It's a moment in time preserved, forever tangible to being you back to that memory, feeling, smell or touch. They unfold a story, for us to look back on and for us to be remembered by.

Time is something we never get enough of.

This is one of the reasons we LOVE two day elopements. You get time, space and the ability to create really profound memories together as you transition as an engaged couple to a married couple. Not only holding value in the one day, but to honor your entire story, relationship and for sure the adventure.

Throughout Chris + Sheila's elopement the groom kept saying "oh wow" and "look at this," there's truly no wedding venue that will move you, leave you in awe, bring peace and inspiration like Mother Nature.

Their dream was the get married in the mountains and a blue bird late September day they were blessed to get to see all the peaks the north cascades could offer.

It was a fun, beautiful day from up high among the peaks to low within the forests.
