a time that brought you close to your partner:

So many of our adventures, but I would say one of our first dates actually where Bill took me up a mutli-pitch spire when I had literally never climbing before. I did not look into it prior, just trusted him. I liked him a lot so I felt like I had to accomplish the climb. I bailed on the second pitch, scared out of my mind. It was an incredible day though – he pushed me, listened to my needs + inspired me. From there I was hooked on this life we would build together.

“Traci is the epitome of a meticulous planner with enthusiasm that emanates whenever the landscape sparks inspiration for the perfect shot. Her talent is unparalleled and creativity endless, and it’s truly a privilege to witness the passion she pours into her work – a passion that speaks for itself in the breathtaking photographs she captures.”

A hike we took during 2023 Summer up to a hidden Glacier on the side of Mt Shukstan. I felt like this brought us closer because it was a legit challenging hike where we had to stick together and work together to get there and to return. We got to go somewhere beautiful + presitine on our own. It was an overall neat experience.

“Despite having met us in person just the day before, Bill proved to be an empathetic observer who was attentive to everyone. His fun-loving and good-spirited nature immediately put us at ease, helping ensure our personalities were captured in the photographs.”

Experiences we day dream about

our dream elopements

We’ve been in your boots before WE CAN NOT WAIT TO CONNECT

We eloped just us two after hiking 74 miles around the base of Mount Rainier on the Wonderland Trail in August of 2021. Afterwards we took our cat, Indy, on a separate backpacking trip on National Forest Land to camp with us and put his paw print on our marriage paperwork.

Our elopement experience was surreal, hard, emotional, beautiful and something neither one of us will ever forget. I literally couldn’t imagine getting married in another way, this way was so us, purposeful and to us reflective of what marriage is. We personally found it really important to get married in a way that we would be only focused on being a team, being disconnected from everything else in life and surrounded by nature.

We chose eloping in Mt Rainier for two reasons – the park had a lot of personal meaning to both of us and it was home to this specific trail.

When we first started dating Bill asked me what bucket list adventures I had – one was to summit Rainier and the other was to hike the Wonderland. So we thought, well why not tick off a bucket list item while getting married!?

In the summer of 2023 we finished the last 18 miles of the Wonderland Trail. We hiked back to our favorite spot on the trail, that we actually stopped to appreciate as we hiked out on our actual wedding day. Here we changed back into wedding attire for some incredible images with Mt Rainier, to read letters to each other reflecting on these first years married, shared wine we had on our first real date and ate the same last meals we had on the trail when we backpacked. While this section was not as hard as our elopement, the experience is one just as fond in my heart. To have this time together, in a place that has been so fundamental in our relationship will forever be an experience I crave. I am glad we have celebrated our marriage more than just one day 🙂

“Together, Traci and Bill are the most intentional, professional, and talented pair who complement each other in every way”
